Reworked Big-E 555 Levi's denim dress (S)
This is an interesting find. The hotdog decoration alone is quite interesting, but as denim nerds, the components that make up this dress are quite insane! Reworked dress made by combining a cut-off denim jacket and reworked 501 jeans to create the skirt. But what caught our eye is that both the jacket and jeans used to make this dress are Big-E Levi's! Taking a closer look we see that both the jacket and 501 jeans have a 555 factory stamp, indicating they were made at Levi's Valencia Street factory in their hometown of San Francisco!! To sum it up this dress is made up of two highly collectible and rare Levi's garments made pre-LVC as reproductions of pre-1971 Big E styles.
